Stoeger Industries Introduces the STR-9F Combat Pistol

January 2023, (Accokeek, MD) – Stoeger Industries, manufacturer of performance-grade shotguns, personal defense handguns, and airguns, continues to expand its STR-9 pistol offerings with the release of the new STR-9F Combat 9mm.

Based on the original STR-9F Full-Size handgun, the new STR-9F Combat is factory-enhanced to meet the needs of today's discerning shooters. Because defensive pistols may be deployed anytime, anywhere, the STR-9F Combat offers two sighting options.

First is an adjustable fiber-optic front and rear sight system that delivers optimal visibility in bright to low-light conditions. These sights are also taller than the standard STR-9F sights to allow use with a suppressor or with micro red dot sights. Second, to accommodate a red dot, the STR-9F Combat's nitride-hardened slide includes an optic cut. Four mounting plates come with the pistol, making it compatible with most red dot patterns on the market today. If a red dot is not used, the included cover plate presents a clean slide surface.

Given the increased use of suppressors and aftermarket muzzle devices, the STR-9F Combat barrel is threaded and comes with a thread protector. Also included with the STR-9F Combat is an extended mag well designed to help funnel the magazine into the receiver for super-quick mag changes.

As with all Stoeger STR-9 pistols, the STR-9F Combat boasts an ergonomic grip with ample stippling and finger grooves to ensure a positive grip and precise muzzle control, a reversible magazine release button, crisp trigger, optimized slide serrations front and back, an accessory rail for lights or lasers, and a backstrap design that offers customization with available backstraps (medium size included).

The STR-9F Combat is offered in two models: 20+1 capacity (#31794) and 10+1 capacity (#31795). MSRP is $629 for both models.
